Festival Sceening
Solitary will screen at the Cinequest Film Festival the last week of Feb - dates and details to be announced soon!
Music Score
Andrew Keresztes is hard at work composing original music for Solitary, using his own state-of-the-art orchestral string library, LA Scoring Strings. With the score almost complete, final audio mixing is the final step to complete the film.

More ADR
The ADR process continues, as we bring each actor back into the studio to re-record much of their dialogue with sound supervisor Glenn Scott Lacey. Very little of the on set recordings are usable in the final film, due to background sounds and poor acoustics in the house. We have a few more sessions, then its on to the other sound work, like foley, sound effects, music and mixing.

ADR
One aspect of post production that is in the works is ADR (automatic dialogue replacement), although there's not much "automatic" about it. Sound Designer Glenn Scott Lacey is carefully re-recording many of the unusable on-set lines, one at a time, for every character in the film. Amber is the first actor to come back in for this process, seen here with Glenn and Greg in the studio.

Post Production
We are well into post production on Solitary, with Greg Derochie working on color timing, visual effects and titles, while Glenn Scott Lacey takes care of ADR, Foley and mixing, and Andrew Kerestztes composes the film's score. Still a lot of work ahead of us, but we're hopeful we can have a finished film by May or June. A trailer is also in the works and will be posted soon.
